Look no further than Fredrick - aka Freddie, Fred, McFredrickson - the wonder pup. This bundle of athletic joy seems to have springs in his feet and is happy to use anything, or anyone, as a launch pad to demonstrate those skills. At a year of age Mr. Fredrick is just coming into his prime years and is searching for a home that can help him reach his goals of being a sport dog. He knows that with the right guidance he can be the best pogo dog there ever was! He is also willing to try other sports if they are super fun. Fredrick did have some insecurities in the shelter and was a bit slow to warm up to new people but he is quickly overcoming that and knows that with some more socialization he can be the star of the show in no time. Fredrick is a mouthy guy while playing and loves to romp, roughhouse, and tug. Fredrick has not been around children and is not recommended for a home with children at this time due to his energy and mouthiness. Right now Fredrick just wants to focus on learning how to make new friends while out and having a safe space to decompress at home. He things an active person, or couple, that enjoys playing, adventures, and has patience sounds nice.

 

Fredrick is pretty sure he has figured out this play thing with other dogs and although he is still a rambunctious heathen he tends to do really well with the dogs that can tolerate his playful manner. He doesn't understand why some dogs are mean to him when he just wants to use them as a spring board during play but he figures he can learn to respect their boundaries if he has to. Fredrick has not met any cats or smaller dogs at this time.
