Missy is a stunning sable German Shepherd female estimated around 2 years of age. Missy arrived as a stray therefore her history and background is unknown; however, this sweet girl is eagerly looking forward to having a home of her own.

Missy is sweet as can be and is the sort of girl that just melts into any affection someone is giving her. She is a social and laid back girl who enjoys going for walks and following you around the house. If parties were a thing Missy would be the sort to go from person to person getting attention and begging treats. Although she is outgoing and friendly Missy is not generally the sort to demand attention and is happy to keep you company while you work around the house. Missy is laid back for a German Shepherd but that does not mean she is a couch potato or low energy dog. Missy enjoys walks, hikes, and plenty of play time to keep her mentally and physically stimulated. She is a smart girl who picks up quickly and true to her Shepherd nature is looking for someone to bond with. Missy has had limited interactions with children in her time with us but has not demonstrated any behavior that would lead us to believe she wouldn't do well with children 4 years and older. 

Missy is fostered with other German Shepherds and does a great job navigating play yards and social settings. She will play with some of the other dogs but is mostly content to stay near the humans or go off with a chew toy of her own. She has done well meeting new dogs and seems to be appropriate and respectful of other dogs boundaries. Missy has not met any dogs below 45 lbs or been tested with cats at this time.
