Zeke is a beautiful male German Shepherd estimated around 2 years of age. Zeke was a stray therefore we do not know his background or history. Zeke is an outgoing, goofy boy with a big personality. He loves making new friends and is quick to say hiiiiii. Zeke does his best to be a good boy but does have a tendency to jump when meeting new people and he enjoys roughhousing with those he knows. He is learning that he can't lead the humans around by their shirtsleeves but he still thinks it is a fun trick to try on new people. Zeke is a lot of silly, young dog energy and he will need some guidance in addition to an outlet for that energy. Zeke has been around children as young as 7 years without concern. He is a lot of bouncy big dog though so he may not the be the best match for a home with younger kids or kids that aren't comfortable around big dogs. Zeke does a great job with the other dogs in his foster home and has a good grasp on his social manners. He is still figuring out how to play - he isn't sure if he is supposed to chase or romp or ignore sometimes - but is figuring it out. He is respectful of the older dogs that don't want to play as well. Zeke has done well during initial cat testing. Zeke has not been around small dogs. Zeke is looking for a family that will give him the patience, guidance, and adventure every young Shepherd needs.
