Katara is a stunning female German Shepherd estimated around 3 years of age. Katara was a stray and we do not know her history or background. Katara is a very soft, sweet girl who has an easy going personality with people. She can be a bit reserved when she first meets someone but more in a minding her manners way rather than being shy. Once she is familiar with someone she can be a bit goofy and loves attention. She is never far from the people even while in the yard playing. Katara is a typical people oriented Shepherd and is looking for a close bond. Katara has had limited interactions with children over 7 years of age but nothing in her behavior indicates she wouldn't do okay with kids. Katara does great with the other dogs in her foster home and is a peace keeper. She stays clear of the more rambunctious, mischievous dogs as that just isn't her style. She will play chase games and is figuring out how to romp with the other dogs as she settles in. She is also content to just ignore them and chew a bone or hang out near the people. Katara is a fan of the zoomies especially in the mornings - what a great way to burn energy in her opinion. Katara has had one cat test during which she was curious but not aggressive. She would need further cat testing before being considered for a home with cats. Katara has not been around small dogs. Katara is a kind-hearted girl who is looking for a home full of love.
