Jack is a handsome young adult around 2 years of age. Jack was well known to animal control prior to making his way to rescue as he had been allowed to free roam his neighborhood since puppyhood. We do not know much about his background beyond this. 

Jack believes he is the life of the party and is always looking for someone to treat him as the guest of honor. He is social, outgoing and quick to make new friends - after all who wouldn't want to be his friend? Jack is still learning that his new life does comes with boundaries and guidelines but he is taking it all in stride. He can be a bit of a goof at times and doesn't always understand how large he is when playing. Jack has been around children 8 years of age and up with no issues but has not been around younger children to our knowledge.

Jack is learning his social manners with the other dogs and is doing pretty well. He was an unaltered male when he arrived and came with the attitude to match. He has had to learn that he isn't hot stuff but he is figuring it out and learning to navigate playgroups. He has walked with everything from an 18 lb puppy that tugged on his tail to grumpy senior dogs. Jack is not one to back down though if another dog pushes him so he does need supervision and guidance with new dogs to prevent conflict. Jack has not been around true small dogs (large breed puppy doesn't count) nor has he been cat tested.
