King is a handsome male Shepherd estimated around 3 years of age. We do not know King's history or background prior to arriving at the shelter however his head-shy nature gives us some hints.

King is the sort of boy who prefers to get to know people from a distance at first and he can be very head-shy. He is protective of his collar area and does not like being rushed into being handled in this area. When given space to check things out King often doesn't take long to start seeking affection - he really wants to be loved on even he isn't sure how to trust initially. King is routine oriented and is the sort of boy who wants to join you for morning tea at the same time every morning. He is eager to please and enjoys always being near the people - he is a great yard work companion. King has not been around any children at this time and would likely prefer a home with older children. 

King does well with the other Shepherds in his foster home. He is exactly playful but navigates playgroups with ease and has a good handle on his social manners. He has done well meeting new dogs and is generally a laid-back guy. King has NOT been cat tested or around smaller dogs.
