Annika is an adorable female Shepherd estimated around 2 years of age. Annika was a stray therefore we do not know her history or background prior to arriving at the shelter. 

Annika seems to be a typical sweet, playful young Shepherd. She has been easy-going and social with everyone she has meet so far and seems to just be a very kind girl.  Annika has not been around children at this time. Annika has been quick to make friends with the other dogs in her foster home and loves to play. She did well during an initial cat test and we are hopeful that she would do well in a home with cats. 

Annika is heartworm positive and has begun treatment for this. She will need to continue to receive treatment, and ongoing preventative, in her adoptive home. We are happy to discuss treatment options via email.
