Santara is a beautiful young Shepherd estimated around 10 months of age. Santara was a stray therefore we do not know her history or background prior to arrival at the shelter. 

Santara is a sweet, very vocal young girl who is looking for guidance and adventure. Santara enjoys meeting new people but currently screams (it really cannot be called a bark) upon seeing people and inappropriately overjoyed in her greetings. Santara is still learning not to jump on new friends and that not yelling at people makes them more likely to be her friend; however, she will need ongoing socialization in her new home. Santara is a loving girl and she really enjoys going for walks and playing in the yard with her foster family. She has a lot of energy so she requires plenty of exercise both physical and mental. Santara is a smart, sassy girl and is going to need all of the training and patience that comes with raising a young Shepherd. 

Santara loves other dogs although she is still learning those manners as well. She is very playful and is constantly romping with other dogs in her foster home. She has done a good job respecting the dogs that don't want to play with her and is generally good at navigating playgroups. She has not mastered the art of quietly meeting new dogs. Santara has not been cat tested or tested with small dogs.
