Max is a handsome 5 year old German Shepherd whose owner surrendered him to their local shelter for reasons unknown to us. We have very little information on Max's history but do know that his eye was injured, and repaired, as a puppy. Although it looks a bit funny it does not bother him. Max is a social boy who does great meeting new people and making friends. Max is a talker and likes to make conversation when greeting new people - we blame it on him having lived with a husky. Max is generally well mannered and does a good job navigating new situations and places. Max enjoys going for walks, playing with toys, and hanging out in your office. Max has done well with the children he has met that have been 7+ years of age. Max has lived with other dogs throughout his life and is currently fostering with other dogs. He has been appropriate and friendly meeting new dogs. He isn't super big on playing but can be persuaded by the right dog. Max has done well during cat testing and seems to be cat friendly. Max is looking for a loving home that'll appreciate the song of his people, pirate costumes, and Shepherd snuggles.
