Malachite is a beautiful female GSD estimated around 1 year of age. Malachite was a stray therefore we do not know her history or background prior to arrival at the shelter. Malachite is a lover and a very social girl. She enjoys making new friends and is a bit of a busy body wanting to be part of everybody's business. She is mostly on the go energy right now but once she wears out she can be quite the cuddler. Malachite enjoys going on walks, hikes, and rides in the car. She would be a wonderful adventure companion. Malachite has done wonderful with the children she has met (8+ years of age) and would likely do well in a home with kids. Malachite is more people oriented than dog at the moment but is navigating her new foster siblings well. She has been appropriate in meeting new dogs and respectful of the boundaries they set. She navigates play groups with ease. Malachite was a bit too intense meeting cats so she is NOT recommended for a home with cats or small dogs. Malachite is a total sweetheart that is looking for a loving, fun home of her own.
