Ludo is an adorable 9 month old German Shepherd mix. Ludo arrived at the shelter as a stray who had been hit by a car shortly before Christmas 2022. He required amputation and has been happily adjusting to tripod life since then. Ludo is a very sweet boy who enjoys making new human friends. He doesn't always know what to do when meeting them but he is learning. He enjoys being part of anything that is going on and is especially happy to keep you company in the yard or on walks. Ludo loves playing with toys and is an energetic young guy. Ludo has done great around kids 7 plus years of age but has not been around younger kids at this time. He is a puppy in many ways and is going to require the socialization and training all big pups need. He is still house training and overall learning manners. Ludo loves other dogs and hopes to always have dog friends to romp and run with. He is polite in respecting the boundaries of the dogs that don't want to play with him but is always looking for new friends. He is the smallest of his play group and has not been around smaller dogs at this time. Ludo has done well with initial cat testing but does not regularly interact with cats at this time. Ludo is looking for a fun loving home that'll help him figure out how to be part of the family.
