Driftwood is a handsome adult Belgian Malinois estimated at 3 years of age. Driftwood was a stray therefore we do not know his history prior to arrival at the shelter.

 

Driftwood is an active, loyal, and loving boy that does everything with an exclamation mark. He can be a bit reserved meeting new people but has been quick to warm up and pull out his Mal antics. True to his breed Driftwood is mouthy and pushy when he doesn't have instant gratification. He is easily redirected and seems to have some very basic training but he will need a home that understands mouthy nature of this breed. Driftwood is a sensitive boy and is very responsive to his handler - he is a velcro dog looking for a human to attach to. Driftwood has not been around children at this time.

 

 

Driftwood has been wonderful with other medium and large dogs. He is eager to make friends but respectful when his feelings aren't returned. He navigates new playgroups well and seems to be comfortable sharing space and resources with other dogs. Driftwood has not been around dogs under 35 lbs or cats at this time.
