Elena is a beautiful young female German Shepherd estimated around 8 months of age. Elena was a stray therefore we do not know her history prior to arrival at the shelter. 

Elena is a sweetie who is quick to steal the hearts of everyone that she meets. She is a loving girl who is very social and vying for her title as a velcro Shepherd. Elena is not a fan of her crate and would much rather be warming your feet at all times. She seems to have a good understanding of house life and is well behaved inside. Elena has done great with the handful of kids she has met and would likely do well in a home with children. 

Elena has done great with other dogs although she doesn't always understand why they are so energetic. She is coming out of her shell and becoming more playful and navigates playgroups well. She is well mannered meeting new dogs on leash and has adjusted quickly to new dogs within her foster home. Elena is living with cats and although they avoid her mostly she has done well with them so far. She has shown little interest and mostly ignores them at this time.
