Ila is a beautiful young German Shepherd/Dutch Shepherd mix estimated around 3.5-4 months of age. Ila was found as a stray therefore we do not know anything about her history prior to arrival at the shelter. 

Ila is a rambunctious young girl that is looking for a home with the patience to guide her and enough adventure to keep her mind engaged. Ila is an ultra sweet pup who loves to be part of anything and everything that is happening. She is an on-the-go sort of girl who would play all the time if you'd let her. Ila is a typical pup and is still learning about manners and potty training. She is opportunistic in perfecting her counter surfing skills and is not yet convinced humans aren't just large chew toys. She is a smart girl though and is learning quickly and eager to please. Ila is a bit too much for young children at this time but would do well in a home with older, dog savvy kids. 

Ila loves other dogs even if they don't always love her back. She is a rough and tumble sort of player and is still fine-tuning her social skills. She can be a bit timid meeting new dogs but warms up quickly to making new friends. She would love to have other dogs in the home to romp with constantly. However, she may be a bit much for older or less playful dogs. Ila has not been around cats at this time. She would likely try to jump on them the same way she does other dogs.
