Daisy is a beautiful female German Shepherd estimated around 1.5 years of age. Daisy was found as a stray with a litter of 10 puppies in rural western Kentucky and we unfortunately do not know her history prior to that.
Daisy was a phenomenal momma to her litter which were only around 4 weeks old when they were found. She maintained a sweet demeanor through everything that was thrown her way going to the shelter and then foster and then moving to a new foster with the rescue and weaning her pups at the same time. Daisy has been kind, easy going, and loving with everyone she has met from kiddos to adults. Daisy just has a way about her that makes you want to cuddle up with her and she loves it.
Daisy is still figuring out how to "dog" after being in mom mode the past few months. She is slowly learning how to play with the other dogs in her foster home and is doing really well. She is unsure about the pushier, more rambunctious, dogs and doesn't hesitate to use her mom voice to provide a swift reprimand if anyone gets too wild for her. Daisy was overly interested in the cats in her first foster home and is currently not recommended for a home with cats or small dogs.
Daisy is a loving, big hearted girl that is looking for a home that can give her the TLC every momma needs. If you are the home for Daisy email us at Tierhavenrescue@gmail.com for an adoption application or visit Tierhaven.rescuegroups.org for FAQs
