Pixie is an adorable little girl around 11 weeks of age who was found in the Hazard, KY area. The shelter thought she was a German Shepherd puppy and sent her to us however we suspect that she is an Australian Shepherd as it seems her tail has been docked - only time will tell though. Pixie is a ball of energy like most puppies and is smart as can be. She loves playing with the big dogs, forcing cats to wrestle with her, and finding trouble to get into. She enjoys toys, tug, and stealing shoes when allowed. Like most puppies Pixie enjoys nipping people and thinks toes are the best chew toys ever made. Of course we work to redirect her behavior however her new home will need to be fully prepared to handle all that a rambunctious pup has to offer. Pixie is wicked smart and is great at working for her food. She knows how to sit, down, roll, spin, crawl, and is working on "sit up". She is also very well behaved in her crate staying clean and quiet throughout the night. She has a good start in life and is searching for a home to flourish that will be dedicated to her continued training and socialization. Pixie will likely make a great hiking partner and will definitely bring lots of laughter to your home.
