Diva is an adorable little girl around 6 to 7 months of age who is an unknown mixture of breeds. Her tail is doc'ed however that gives us little information on what she could possibly be mixed with. Diva was surrendered to the shelter by an individual who claimed they had agreed to watch her for the owner but the owner never returned for her. Assuming that she was sold by a breeder it appears Diva has already known 3 "homes" in her short life. Diva is a total sweetheart but has certainly earned her name. The shelter was unsure of her personality because she did snap when the vet techs tried to handle her rear end however she is simply a bit defensive with people who rush her. She has hair loss on her rear end from a serious flea infection that has now been brought under control. If you give Diva a little bit of time to warm up she is a very cuddly and social young girl. She is also very bouncy and friendly once she relaxes. Diva was very unsure of the bigger dogs when she first arrived but is learning the ropes. As a petite girl she seems to think she could possibly be dinner but we assured her no one is going to make a meal out of her with us. She has lots of attitude though - hence the name - and did not hesitate to tell the larger dogs to back off. She is also very intrigued by cats but wasn't persistent in bothering them nor did she try to hurt them - just follow them and grumble. Diva is a young girl who seems to have had a rough start. She is going to need a home that can balance TLC with training and boundaries to get her on track to being the best she can be.
