Kia is an extremely loving female shepherd who is estimated around 5-6 years of age. Kia found herself at the shelter after being abandoned in the backyard of a vacant home. Kia apparently never left the yard where she was abandoned yet no owners were found. Kia has a very outgoing and friendly personality. She doesn't know any strangers because she loves everyone. Kia does wonderful with kids and has a demeanor that speaks of being a family dog in the past. Don't let her grey muzzle fool you though - Kia has plenty of energy! She enjoys going on walks and is very vocal. Kia is a typical shepherd "talker" and usually has something to say about anything going on. Kia does well with other dogs although she isn't overly playful. She is the queen of the baby pool though and when asked to share is friendly with the other dogs. She loves to play in the water of the baby pool even though she isn't the biggest fan of being bathed. She can be a bit of a mud puppy but it is all in good fun. Kia has not been cat tested at this point. Kia is searching for a loving family with a moderate energy level to give her the love she deserves through her golden years.
