King is a stunning two year old male German Shepherd who found himself at the Garrard County animal shelter when he and another dog were found chasing the neighbors cattle. King is an amazingly sweet dog who despite having little socialization is loving to everyone he meets and very well mannered. King has gotten along well with all of the other dogs he has met - all 40+ pounds - and is an overall great dog. King has been introduced to an adult cat on one occasion since arriving with us. During that interaction King sniffed his way over to the cat, sniffed the cat (who hissed at him), and turned away. This was a controlled introduction just to gauge Kings initial reaction to the cat and does not guarantee that he will automatically adjust to living with a cat daily. With proper supervision, training, and guidance though it is promising that King could learn to live with cats. King has a fun personality and loves to be with people.
