Bruce is an extremely loving 3 year old male german shepherd who found himself as risk of being euthanized at the Montgomery county shelter when his owners surrendered him for "growing too protective of the property". To our knowledge Bruce was not allowed inside the house and was left outside with the livestock. Bruce seems to be a very laid back dog who just wanted to be where the people are. He doesn't make waves with the other dogs and just goes about his business in a very quite manner. Bruce clearly hasn't know the love of a family nor had much guidance in his behavior. He doesn't ask for attention but enjoys receiving attention from people and will follow right on your heels. Bruce has been around children on a limited basis and hasn't seemed to have any issues. He is a generally friendly dog and doesn't seem to be timid around children. Bruce is the poster puppy for a dog that that has been rejected his whole life and is still searching for that one special person to show him how to be a well-behaved and well loved member of the family.
