Chief is an approximately four year old male German Shepherd. Chief was severely abused in the past and can take a bit to warm up to people. Once he trusts someone he is very affectionate, friendly, and loyal. He continues to have some fear handling his collar which speaks to his not-so-friendly past but he obviously wants to be friendly and tries very hard to please. Chief needs a quiet home with the patience to show him that he can trust people and what a loving home is like. Chief has lots of love to give to someone who will give it back.
