Addy is an adorable young German Shepherd female estimated around a year of age give or take a few months. Addy was found as a stray therefore we do not know her history or background beyond arrival at the shelter. We do know that Addy is eagerly looking forward to having a home of her own.

Addy is a rambunctious and outgoing girl with energy to spare. She has not wasted a minute making new friends in her foster home and is quick to ask for attention. She meets every day with enthusiasm and is always ready for a new adventure. She is definitely a very puppy-like girl and is going to need appropriate outlets for her energy and curiosity. Addy is eager to please, quick to learn, and is happy to be along for whatever you might be doing. She has rode great in the car and although she hasn't had a chance for many outings yet she would likely be a wonderful hiking or jogging companion. Addy has not been around any children at this time but given her energy level and lack of training we would not currently recommend her for a home with children under 8 years of age or children that are not used to large, rambunctious dogs.

Addy loves other dogs and gets along great with the other Shepherds in her foster home. She is quick to play and is learning to respect the boundaries of the dogs that don't want to play. She has learned to stick with the other dogs that want to romp and run with her and is learning how to navigate play groups with ease. Addy can be a bit forward with new dogs wanting to jump right into playing which can be off putting to many dogs and Addy will need to improve her social manners around. Addy is NOT cat friendly and likely would not do well with small dogs either. 

Addy is a sweet, active young girl who is searching for a home that will give her the exercise and guidance she needs to grow into the awesome companion we know she can be.
