Nikki is a beautiful Akita/German Shepherd mix estimated around 5 years of age who came to the shelter as a stray. We do not know Nikki's history but this smart girl is happily searching for a home of her own.    Nikki is a wicked smart, sassy girl who enjoys making new friends and seeing who she can get the most treats out of. Nikki is an active and playful girl and enjoys being in the middle of whatever is happening. Nikki has done well with new volunteers and is generally happy to meet new people. She enjoys going hiking, playing in the snow, and giving lots of kisses. Nikki has been around children 8+ years of age with no concerns.   Nikki is currently fostered with other GSDs and generally does a good job with the other dogs. She can be a bossy girl and has a rough play style - if you aren't rolling, romping, and taking out legs are you even playing? Nikki is respectful of the dogs that don't want to play but with ones that do she is happy for the romp. Nikki is NOT cat friendly.   Nikki is a smart and loving girl who is searching for a family to call her own.
