Turtle Duck is an adorable German Shepherd estimated around a year of age. Turtle Duck was a stray therefore we do not know his history or background. Turtle Duck was pretty shy and withdrawn in the shelter. He has since come out of his shell in his foster home but is still learning that new people are safe. He likes to stay on the outskirts to check out a new place, or new people, before interacting. Once he does warm up Turtle Duck is a silly, playful boy who is eager to please. He is a smart guy and picks up on routines quickly. Turtle Duck is going to flourish with some structured socialization and personalized TLC. Turtle Duck has not been around children and is not currently recommended for a home with kids under 12 years of age. Turtle Duck loves the other dogs in his foster home. He is a playful but respectful young guy who has a good handle on his canine social manners. He enjoys romping with the younger dogs but respects the space of the older dogs. Turtle Duck has not been around smaller dogs or cats at this time. Turtle Duck is looking for a patient home that will help him learn to navigate the world.
