Claire is a beautiful female German Shepherd estimated around 1 year of age. Claire was a stray therefore we do not know her history or background prior to arrival at the shelters.

Claire is a social butterfly and wants to be part of all the action, always making new friends. She is still learning that new friends don't want her exuberant hugs immediately but sometimes she can't contain herself. Claire is a very sweet girl and she is really looking for 'her people' - she is the definition of a shadow shepherd. Claire has been around children 7+ years of age with no concerns and would likely do well with kids that can handle a large, energetic dog. 

Claire can be vocal meeting new dog friends but is friendly when introduced. She currently fosters with other medium-large dogs with no issues and she has navigated playgroups well. She is more people-oriented overall doesn't have any issues sharing the home with other dogs. Claire as not been around small dogs at this time. She is currently fostered with cats but shows a bit more interest in them than we would like. She may be able to adjust to cats long term with training but would likely be best in a home without cats.
