Buck Reed is a handsome young German Shepherd estimated around 1 year of age. Buck Reed was confiscated by animal control after being abandoned when his owners were evicted. Unfortunately, we do not know anything about the circumstances that led to his abandonment or his history prior to arrival at the shelter.

Buck Reed is an enthusiastically   social boy who is very outgoing and rambunctious. Buck doesn't quite understand the concept of his size or personal space and needs to be a bit overwhelming in the way he greets the world. He wants to be part of everything at all times and is will gladly voice his displeasure at being left out. Buck Reed would love to be part of an active family and is a great jogging or hiking companion. Buck Reed has been around children 8+ years of age and is sure they've hung the moon. He is better behaved meeting kids then he is most adults and simply adores them. 

Buck Reed is fostered with other dogs and aside from being rather juvenile in his social manners he does great with the other dogs. He hasn't yet learned that barking and whining doesn't make friends so he struggles a bit with leashed interactions but is a playful, friendly guy overall. He has done well navigating play groups and is learning to be more respectful in his play style but is still pretty rough and tumble. Buck Reed has not been around small dogs or cats at this time.
